Guest guest
Hi. You can skip using bread crums or bread 1 of the salmon patties and count it for 15 grams of carbs. Maybe try some lemon or something else to spice it up some instead of the carbs... Regards, Bread brumbs Hi, I have a question regarding bread crumbs. I've been making my salmon patties with bread crumbs and two eggs. Now I understand why my bs readings wasn't under 120 this afternoon and why it wasn't as low as it could have been since I have been eating the salmon patties. My question is is there something else that I could use to make the salmon patties with instead of using bread crumbs. I didn't realize how many carbs they have. Thanks for any help or suggestions that you all may have regarding this. Terri

Guest guest
Hmm, You could use some Bolger to take the place of the bread crums. Also, wonder what a little soy meal would do? Another thought might be to take a couple of pieces of an Atkins or other low carb wheat bread, dry them and then make the bread crumbs from this. This should yield a much lower carb bread crumb and it would have a lower GI number. Cy, the ancient Okie... Re: Bread brumbs Hi.
