Guest guest
Mornin Val, I'm only on my seventh day of HC, but yesterday in the afternoon felt like a mac truck had hit me...all of a sudden was overcome by the need to sleep. Taking HC as per STTM dosing instructions: 2.5 - 7:30AM 2.5 - 11:30AM 2.5 - 3:30PM I'm not taking any thyroid meds...weaned off those for three weeks due to thyroid dump prior to starting HC. The only thing I can think of is that I had an emotional shock yesterday in the late AM. Do you think this would have caused me to plummet like this? Or could this be just the timing of the remaining T4 and T3 in my system finally being used up? I take it that I am not supposed to add in thyroid hormones until I am on at least 20 mgs of HC and have held that dose until most symptoms, palps and fatigue, sleep issues (dreaming, but waking up at 3-4AM) have plateaued? Thanks, __________________________________________________

Hyper symptoms? If so this was simply your adrenals dumping out adrenaline when they had no more cortisol trying to handle the T3 in the thyroid. NOT the same as a thyroid dump. I would start the Armour back but very slowly. Cortisol uses up thyroid so you need to add some back in if you start having vey hypo symptoms and it sounds liek you are. Maybe start 15MG and if that goes weel, add another 25MG in a separate dose next week. Continue building the HC up as you go. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store (Closing after Xmas!!!) http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
