Guest guest
Okay. Thanks for explaining. I guess it makes sense. The blood sugar reading two hours after breakfast was 180. Not good. Maybe I'll go for a walk and see if that makes a difference in two hours before eating lunch. Hope so. Bye for now. Terri 15 gram carb lunch Hi , What about a turkey burger patty and frozen vegetable such as spinach, green beans, brussel sprouts, or broccoli. Wouldn't that be about 15 carbs. I know the turkey burger patty is 5 and I think the frozen veggies are about 10. Thanks. Terri

We can look at it to see what may have not agreed with your body and spiked you. Hang in there... this can be fun studying how foods effect you! Guest guest
, Could it have been the 10 strawberries? Guest guest
yup. However, I cannot recall what she ate so not certain if the strawberries were from breakfast... Guest guest
I thought I had posted this information to you earlier. Sorry about that. 2 eggs scrambled, with 2 slices of healthy choice ham, a few chunks of colby cheese, and one slice of Lee's bread with some cream cheese. I bet it was the cream cheese. Anyway after the two hour post I told you that it was 180 and I went on the treadmill for 35 minutes and burned 100 calories and walked .80 miles. The reading before lunch is 91. Will keep you posted. Terri 15 gram carb lunch > > > Hi , What about a turkey burger patty and frozen vegetable such > as > spinach, green beans, brussel sprouts, or broccoli. Guest guest
the only culprit would be the bread or cream cheese. Was the cream cheese flavored such as strawberry? If so, that would be higher in carb from it being sweeter. Typically, cream cheese is very low carb because it is higher in fat. Guest guest
BTW Terri you probably are not going to want to exercise today after lunch so don't worry about it. You already exercised after breakfast to bring your sugar down so no worries, we'll try our experiment tomorrow with lunch and exercising for 45 to an hour... Guest guest
Hi , No. The cream cheese didn't have any flavoring. It was just plain. Guest guest
Hi Terri. Try an experiment tomorrow. Eat the same breakfast minus the cream cheese and see what your two hour post is. If it is in range, then you have found a food that jacks your sugar. We all have foods like this... they are fine for one but jack another persons sugar for some reason. One of those YMMV issues...
