I don't think you're taking too much HC, but I am NO expert! That's why I'm here...to l-e-a-r-n! Morning Yourself! I forgot that I had lowered my Armour dose from 3 to 2 grains for one day on Wednesday so, as Val astutely spotted, the increase back to 3 grains yesterday may well account for the annoying palps. So I am monitoring away, pulse, temps. etc. It is doing my head right in trying to remember to * take the h.c every four hours, * to make sure I leave four hours between the three split doses of Armour * to take my temp. 3 hours after rising and three hours after that and yet again three hours after that. On top of which I am taking PGX soluble fibre meal replacement shakes (for insulin resistance and weight loss hopefully) and with this I also have to remember to take any and all meds at least one hour before ingesting the PGX or else wait two hours after ingesting before I can take any meds. I am going of the tiny bit of brain I have functioning at the moment trying to keep all these balls in the air at the same time! I did check these out but you know my brain is in such poor condition that I can never figure out how to set these things and get myself into an incredible muddle. I use on I have some of these but the problem is remembering the times to take everything and do everything, it is a nightmare. What I need right now is a secretary, a chaffeur, a cleaner and someone to do some DI~Y for me. How are you feeling? How am I feeling? Better than I was last week for sure when I hit rock bottom. A bit anxious about this current raise, wondering if I have taken on too much. But very happy about the new social life that is opening up for me. So I need energy FAST so I can get out there and LIVE a little! lol Everything feels a bit rocky at the moment. Well it IS a rocky road is it not. Which reminds me of a traditional Irish song, I feel a song coming on, lol What's new! LOL Here you go I will sing it just for you. This sung VERY fast, kind of Irish rap, lol. Are you sitting comfortably? Glass of Guinness in hand? OK, here we go, big and very quick intakes of breath for me every five lines. The Rocky Road to Dublin In the merry month of May, from my home I started, Left the girls of Tuam, nearly broken hearted, Saluted father dear, kissed my darlin' mother, Drank a pint of beer, my grief and tears to smother, Then off to reap the corn, and leave where I was born, I cut a stout blackthorn, to banish ghost and goblin, In a brand new pair of brogues, I rattled o'er the bogs, And frightened all the dogs, on the rocky road to Dublin. One, two, three, four five, Hunt the hare and turn her Down the rocky road And all the ways to Dublin, Whack-fol-lol-de-ra. In Mullingar that night, I rested limbs so weary, Started by daylight, next mornin' light and airy, Took a drop of the pure, to keep my heart from sinkin', That's an Irishman's cure, whene'er he's on for drinking. To see the lasses smile, laughing all the while, At my curious style, 'twould set your heart a-bubblin'. They ax'd if I was hired, the wages I required, Till I was almost tired, of the rocky road to Dublin. In Dublin next arrived, I thought it such a pity, To be so soon deprived, a view of that fine city. Then I took a stroll, all among the quality, My bundle it was stole, in a neat locality; Something crossed my mind, then I looked behind; No bundle could I find, upon my stick a wobblin'. Enquirin' for the rogue, they said my Connacht brogue, Wasn't much in vogue, on the rocky road to Dublin. From there I got away, my spirits never failin' Landed on the quay as the ship was sailin'; Captain at me roared, said that no room had he, When I jumped aboard, a cabin found for Paddy, Down among the pigs I played some funny rigs, Danced some hearty jigs, the water round me bubblin', When off Holyhead, I wished myself was dead, Or better far instead, on the rocky road to Dublin. The boys of Liverpool, when we safely landed, Called myself a fool; I could no longer stand it; Blood began to boil, temper I was losin', Poor ould 's isle they began abusin', " Hurrah my soul, " sez I, my shillelagh I let fly; Some Galway boys were by, saw I was a hobblin', Then with a loud hurray, they joined in the affray. We quickly cleared the way, for the rocky road to Dublin. Hey, How do you like the PGX? Is it working for you? It is expensive because of the weight and I have to have it send off from the U.S. so postage is almost as much as the cost of the product. I'm not at all sure what to make of it yet to be honest. Cheers darling! ...I just love saying cheers...please ignore the weak attempt at British humor. Oh I am from Dublin so do not use the cheers word! Guest guest
Mornin Mo, It may be that you've raised your Armour and are just experiencing the effects of afternoon palps for just a few days??? I think Val posted something like this yesterday, not sure though...my mind is a sieve these days. Were the palps as bad as usual, any better, worse? I don't think you're taking too much HC, but I am NO expert! That's why I'm here...to l-e-a-r-n! NOVAexeter@... wrote: I took 3 grains today (Thursday) in three divided doses having raised one grain recently. And the h/c I took 10, 5, 5 and 5. Pulse was good all day until late afternoon when the palps started. My h/c doses were at 9 am, 1, 5 and 9 pm. The 5 pm dose of h.c did not stop the palps and neither did the 9 pm dose. So what to do? Am I am not taking enough h.c or am I taking too much Armour or something else entirely? My average temps. for yesterday was 97.5 and today 97.2. Any ideas peeps? Most grateful, as ever Mo NOVA Counselling & Healing Services

I WILL get back on track soon though. Thanks for your very kind offer. What's DI-Y??? Can't remember! See what I mean? lol Try not to worry...that sets yourself up for feeling yucky physically. I'm doing my best NOT to worry. My mother is gravely ill and far away to where I can't lift a finger to help. It's very sad and every time the phone rings, I wonder if this is " the " call. Oh I am so sorry to hear of this. That must be an awful situation to find yourself in. Do you have good support at home at least? Loved the song! Thank you!! Most welcome. Sorry about the " cheers. " Leave it to me to commit yet another online faux pas! Argh!!!f Not a faux pas at all. Really.
