Hello again! (I posted in May about my background. You can find it

HERE < /message/102196>

..)

Since my first post, I've been to the rheumatologist twice. I had two

more rounds of blood work, a bone scan and ultrasound done (to rule

out a blood clot in my calf). All of the tests came back " normal " ,

meaning no evidence of inflammation or other signs that can explain

the joint pain I'm having. My rheumatologist tells me that my joint

pain seems indicative of rheumatoid arthritis, but cannot diagnose me

with rheumatoid arthritis yet without more evidence (e.g.

inflammation). I have no outwardly visible symptoms like redness or

swelling. I understand that there is a list of criteria that must be

met for the diagnosis, so I just have to wait and go back in November

to be rechecked (unless my symptoms get worse in the meantime).

I was taking Aleve before my first rheumatologist visit in June. She

prescribed Salsalate, which didn't help any better. I stopped the

Salsalate and started Celebrex 5 days ago. The pain has gotten a bit

worse since I'm waiting for the Celebrex to start working, which I

understand can take a little while.

Sorry to rant, it's just kind of frustrating to not know what is wrong

or what can be done. Does any of this sound familiar?
