Guest guest
Katy makes a great point... " Because it might take years, I have to accept myself and RESPECT my body. This is easier to say than to do. " I hate to use a cliche but it really is about the journey. IE is about finding your natural weight, finding respect for your body, opening yourself up to all that your body can do and does do for you. Keep reminding yourself that you already look great. Find something to focus on about your body that makes you smile. Every time I look in the mirror I focus on my eyes because they are quite frankly gorgeous. Before I was too focused on the " negatives " , but it's more fun looking at the positives. Also - someone earlier this week (sorry can't remember who) had a great idea for shopping. Have someone else pick out the cloths and sizes for you to try on, but not look at the size when you try them one and then once they are purchased cut out the size labels. It might just help you to get beyond the feeling of gaining weight with the process and let you know that at any weight you can feel gorgeous and be gorgeous!
