pancreas is working.

-- Re: Checking in

WAYY too early! But I have some good news~ ! It appears that my pancreas

is coming back to life! I ate two meals yesterday withotu needing ANY of

the bolus insulin! Had an all day high of 159 and this AM am 95 again! .

I am cutting the Lantus back more this AM as My coach doesn't want me

this low in the mornings. And I wzs right, son=mething DID change, my

pancreas seesm to be giving it the all time effort to come back. I will

still need the basal insulin btu less of it, so this is great news!

oh so sorry Val, I've just posted about having a cold too. It's my

Aha! Very good suggestion about the cream! My foggy brain didn't even consider

that. I think my hubby has some Cortaid around here somewhere! I'll look at

the label.

Yea, this side ache has got to go. I've been using a homeopathic remedy that

kept it at bay for a few days, but then it hit hard over the weekend. I hate

being so sensitive to everything.

MAY be easier on the stomach but if it is

it is because it is weaker. Have you tried HC cream? That might be a

solution for folks with stomach/liver problems as it bypasses them. I

have read 1/4 tsp equals 10MG HC but alot will depend on absorption.

That is 1% HC cream available in any pharmacy.
