a.. What is achalasia and how did I get this condition?

b.. What causes it ?

c.. Can it be cured ?

d.. Can I pass it on to my children ?

e.. What treatment options are there?

f.. Which treatment do you recommend for me?

g.. Does medical management work? [taking pills]

h.. How many successful dilatations have you done?

i.. How long have you been doing dilatations?

j.. Have you had any which ruptured? How many?

k.. How many myotomies have you done?

l.. How many of these were successful ?

m.. How many needed further treatment [e.g. Dilatation]?

n.. For how long have you been doing myotomies.?

o.. Do you do a fundoplication ? How many of these are successful?

p.. Why do you prefer doing fundoplication ? Do I have any choice?

q.. Have you had any problems with these loosening or tightening?

r.. If I have endoscopic surgery [using a laparoscope] how long will I be

in hospital ?

Hi guys,

I need some input if you will. I have been having pain and swelling

in many joints. Having a lot of issues with fatique Trying to figure

out what I should talk to the doctor about. Medicine change or what.

Having issues with other things too so don't know if that contributes

to the issues(I have read on here that stress can make it worse)
