Guest guest
poly, just wanted to let you know, i occasionally read e mails on dr shers web site at havea baby.com and there was a journalist on thier asking people to talk about their experiences with his office for the december cycle. If you remember, that is when i was suppose to go, but was then turned down over the phone abrubtly and told to look for a surrogate with little explanation. Well i e mailed the journalist, her name is arienne, and told her what happened to me, she e mailed me back and sounded interested in what i had to say, and wanted to know more. I also told her of our group. She wanted to know how i knew the other woman that was also turned down, it was someone on our board i can't remember who, but someone had responded to me on our board that they too were turned down by sher last april. Anyhow i also told her of our group and ashermans syndrome and said maybe she would want to write about that in her book, or something else. So if she e mails me back is it ok to give her your e mail or what exactly should i give her for information for her , about us. thanks judy
Guest guest
Yes Poly I know. I fear this too and I wonder if after all this is over if I should get checked for it intermittently. Funny, I know the risk and I still do it. But, I believe our short courses of hormones are not a problem. I think it's the long periods (years) that really increase the risk. But, I am concerned nevertheless. , You wrote: "But, I wonder. Has any long term estrogen therapy studies been done on women with none to little endometrium left? I don't know the answer, but I wonder. What if someone is on high doses of estrogen for many many many months. Maybe some women can regenerate?" Well , then there is the risk of cancer isn't there?? I mean, how long can we keep filling our bodies with these extra hormones? Poly
