Guest guest
Good job Cheryl! Keep it up Now that all the peanuts are gone and there's no s.f. candy in the house, I'm back down to 196 this am (195.5 yesterday, but oh well!). Today I had: Atkins shake for breakfast (w/cream & Atkins choc. syrup) Atkins bar for snack pork rinds for lunch 4 oz almonds for snack cheeseburger, green beans for dinner I had mayo an <1tsp ketchup I'm up to 50 oz water. I'm stuffed!!! I have to say, I gave the Atkins bars another shot. I hadn't tried the chunky peanut butter before, but it wasn't half bad. No chocolate coating, smelled very peanutty and tasted mildly peanutty, not offensive at all (to me anyway!) I'd eat it again. i also got the fudge brownie one that everyone says is good warmed up...I'll try that later if I think of it. And here I go again, I measure my green beans before I cook them (they're frozen) I'm assuming that's the correct measure for the nutritional info onthe bag?? Cause 1 cup of cooked beans is *a lot*!! I only do 1/2 cup. right??! You *know* I'm challenged in this way Hope everyone else is doing well! (hoping for 195 tomorrow--it'd be a new low!) Guest guest
, If you like crunchy, try the new Praline Crunch bars. So far, those are my favorites. Others I like are the Peanut Crunch, Chunky Peanut Butter, Banana Colada, and -- of course -- the Almond Brownie, warmed. BTW, we're at the same weight now I believe. Today was not a good eating day for me. I was out most of the day and busy with my mom, who is 81 and can run circles around me. She's about 4 ft, 9 in, and weighs about 90 lbs. Darn her. LOL Had a good dinner of 1/2 chicken breast (couldn't eat it all) and broccoli. Will have a LC snack later. I missed lunch and any other snacks I should have had. I did have lots of water since i always take water with me wherever I go. Breakfast was okay, too. Today, I discovered that our Kroger stocks Atkins shakes and bars. I don't usually shop there due to prices. I had some things I could not get at the Food Lion so I stopped by there. I also shop at Krogers for most of my fish since they carry a good variety. Guest guest
Dwen, If you shop online and want good prices, check out vitaglo.com (I'm not associated w/them, just love 'em!) They have the full line of Atkins and great prices. for orders over $20 they ship free (not hard to get to $20). I order from them all the time PS for example, shake mix is like 15.50. Guest guest
I was thinking about you today Cheryl, wondering how you were doing I'm drinking water like crazy - waiting until I've had my 5th big glass of water before having my first cup of tea is doing wonders! I'm down 3.5 pounds since January 1st - just now having snuck down to 1/2 pound lower than I started 2000 with! (like it would have killed me to have gotten my act together 3 days earlier so I could have reported a loss for the year instead of a gain!) I am totally motivated again. I think my head is back on straight again. The elimination diet is keeping things interesting and I'm doing lots of scheming about what to test next. Trying to find the right balance between the healthy things like veggies and the things that keep you going like a little package of almonds in the afternoon. I've stocked up on fresh and frozen cauliflower as I'm hoping to test that tomorrow. While I was cooking dinner tonight, I popped 5 chicken breasts in the oven so I'm good for lunches or quick dinners. I've got hard boiled eggs ready for breakfasts and snacks. I'm organized! Kirstie ps - Cheryl, this time, kiss that 200 good-bye for good! I see you teetering there

Guest guest
, Thanks, I've bookmarked the site. I buy most of my Atkins stuff on line and have found some good bargains. This has the lowest prices so far. I hope they keep the free shipping on a while. I just stocked up. I'm down another lb this am. Yipee!!
