Guest guest
Hi all, I ate a full bar of carbolite milk chocolate which was heaven after not having choc for one month. It made me feel very nauseous and couldn't put anything in my mouth until the next day. Kinda reminded me of the time I was pregnant and suffered morning sickness, has anyone had the same problem???? Guest guest
What were the ingredients Mona? If it contained a lot of sugar alcohols (malitol, etc.), you may have just eaten too much! The sugar alcohols are supposed to pass through our digestive systems mostly untouched (which is why they aren't included in the carb count in some countries), however they do tend to cause a lot of gas and can cause diahrea if too much is eaten. Perhaps the serving size was actually just a square or two? You might want to try it in moderation next time. It could also be coincidental with tummy upset from a completely unrelated cause.
