Appointment of Finance Officer (FSO) For HIV/AIDS care and support programme. At

Vasavya Mahila Mandali (VMM), Based at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.

providing Home and community based care and support to improve the quality of

life of people living with HIV/AIDS, their families and children require

Field Support Officer (Finance)

Job Summary:

· To handle internal finance and accounts of VMM operations and its

partner-managed operations.

· Manage and maintain VMM's financial systems, analyse accurate and

up-to-date financial information

· Continuously review and optimize internal financial controls, and

develop clear financial policies and procedures in line with corporate

requirements

Qualifications/ experience:

a. Masters degree in accounting / Finance.

b. Good English and Telugu oral and written communication skills

c. Minimum of 5 years post qualification working experience required,

with minimum of 3 years working experience managing the accounts and finance for

local or international NGOs

d. Fully computer literate; knowledge and understanding of financial

systems and Tally is a must.

e. Well versed with Indian NGO legislation, including FCRA.

Responsibilities:

Forward granting, preparation of finance reports, maintenance of accounts of

VMM, verification of accounts, records of partner NGOs, Auditing-VMM and partner

NGOs, reporting, preparation of IT deduction for staff, support in FCRA,

develop financial policies and systems, provide technical support to partner

NGOs in accounts and reporting systems and formats, review reports from partner

NGOs and provide feed back, support the collation and preparation of financial

reports, proposals and other documents for the overall programme and participate

in the sharing and documentation of

learning from the programme.
