Guest guest
I am told that I should not smoke or drink or perform strenuous activity after every blood donation. In college, lots of people drank anyway and got drunk faster apparently. Alcohol dilates the blood vessels and can cause fainting and dizziness. (I looked this up on the web). I will assume nicotine and alcohol will be more concentrated since there is less blood. http://faculty.deanza.edu/donahuemary/BlooddonationFAQs Connor, MS,RD,LD
