Good for you! It's amazing how so many of our "choices" are simply habits, and how many pounds we pack on eating stuff we don't really want or like because it "seems" like a treat!

yesterday I needed to break a $20 to pay the babysitter $10 so I went through the McD drivethrough to get the kids some fries (they all share one carton), and bought myself one of the $1 cheeseburgers - enjoyed 1/2 of it, didn't enjoy the next bite, and threw away the rest. I think that's a first! LOL But it was exactly the right amount to enjoy :)

Yesterday I was on my way to pick up the kids from school and Idecided to try the new Mc's iced coffee. I'm not a big MickeyD's eater, but I figured I'd treat the kids to some fries, which theyhardly ever have. So I ordered and got the food, and it dawned on me,as I was sitting at a red light, that I had NO desire to eat any ofthe french fries! I used to LOOOVE those things! So I figured eitherIE is really kicking in! Yay! Then I remembered that the last timemy son ate fries, he threw them up in my lap a few hours later. Whichcould also be a contributing factor. Or a new diet plan, lol! (I hadcompletely forgotten about that incident when i bought them. Needlessto say, my son wasn't too keen on them!)One word of caution about the coffee: while it tastes pretty good andit's not too expensive, it's HUGE! At least, the one they gave mewas! NO ONE should consume that much caffeine in one sitting, lol!
