Hi all,

I had my 1st u/s since my surgery on March 8th. My lining was 5.6

mm. It didn't have the triple layer that I have read about.

I have a couple of questions that I thought about since I left the

RE's office. First, I spotted for the first 9 days after my

surgery. Then, on day 10 after my surgery, I sort of bled heavier

off and on for about 6 days and then stopped bleeding all together.

Not having a " regular " period for so long, I don't know if that

heavier bleeding could have been a period. If it was a period,

wouldn't that have affected the width of my lining? And even if it

wasn't, wouldn't just bleeding affect the width of the lining?

Another question, I was a vegetarian for the last 5 years. I ate

dairy and eggs, but no animal protein at all. Last June I started

eating chicken and fish...no red meat. Could the fact that I'm not

eating red meat effect my lining? Do you think that eating red meat

would help with my lining? Also, I've been dieting and have lost 9

pounds, because I have gained almost 30 pounds since December...could

dieting be effecting my lining too? I'm sort of slow on the uptake

sometimes, and was trying to lose weight so I could be in better

shape to start IVF in June. But...if I can't get my lining up, who

knows if I can even do that! I started taking baby asprin yesterday

too. Anything else that anyone could suggest, I'd appreciate it!

My RE told me to keep taking the Premarin 1.25 twice a day, and on

April 12th start taking provera also, and see if I get a period. I

have already " flunked " provera once. (Presurgery)

Thanks for anything and everything!

Laycee
