Guest guest
hi In December, I had arthroscopic knee surgery for a meniscal tear....and during the arthroscopy, the orthopedic surgeon found an overgrowth of synovial tissue and performed a synovectomy also... Recovery was rather fast and easy...absolutely NO post-op pain I did not fill the Rx for painkillers and only took 2 OTC motrin at lunch, supper and bedtime for a week Crutches with weight-bearing as tolerated for two days, then no crutches...stitches out at 10 days and then to PT for strength and ROM exercises. I had the surgery on a Tuesday....could drive comfortably by Sunday and was shopping in Walmart by the Tuesday a week after surgery The literature on synovectomy says the benefits last at least five years..... I'd definitely recommend having it ! hope this helps, nancy
Guest guest
Thanks, and glad to hear you have had so much success! The way I am trying to approach it is that it cant be any worse than it is now right? :-) > > >Thanks for doing some research for me. I have been researching myself > >also. I guess I will just have to > >see how it goes, and I'll fill you all in! > > > > > > >
