Guest guest
I remember vividly how terrified I was before my myomectomy in 1998. I had a doctor affiliated with a good hospital. She had been referred by a friend whose myomectomy she had performed. She assured me that she would not do a hysterectomy. However, I was still more anxious than I had ever been in my life before. I am sending this message to those of you who are going through the process of deciding what if any procedure to have and the emotions that come with making these decisions. I remember reading this article in U.S. News and World Report back in '98. It has a few helpful hints for dealing with these very normal feelings. Copy and paste this web address into your browser. I hope it is helpful to someone else. http://www.usnews.com/usnews/issue/980727/27surg.htm Margaret
