Poly,

Can you forward to ?

, I am glad you are out of surgery and are recovering. Can you ask Dr. if he can (or would) do office hysteroscopies to remove scarring that may reform? Dr. Indman is using this technique with great success on severe cases of Ashermans. He goes in 1 week after surgery with a loop catheter and wiggles it around. Then 2 weeks after surgery he does an office hysteroscopy and removes adhesions and repeats this process as long as it takes to make sure the cavity is open and stays open and clear. I am having 3 hysteros after my D & C to make sure I won't scar up, and I had 2 hysteros after my operative hysteroscopy. Dr. should know that Dr. Indman (in Calif) has been doing this with great success and if he has any questions to call him. He doesn't use balloons or IUDs anymore (very rare) this has been so successful. Last, all these office hysteros seem to be a nuisance but the alternative is waiting and waiting to see how our uteruses respond and waiting for that dreaded period. This way I am able to see the inside of my uterus and I know how things are going every week. It really is nice for me. I haven't yet had to wait to see how my uterus is healing for more than 2 weeks. Anyway, this is just my 2 cents.

I hope you heal quickly and good luck with your results!

Hi ,

I sure hope he is willing to do it. Dr. Indman is doing office hysteros on a woman right now that has such severe Ashermans it is inconceivable. Way worse than me. He is doing this weekly office hystero procedure and it is working with great results. She may have a normal uterus soon. Good luck and I hope you can get a peek before 6 weeks! Take care and good luck!

I will definately talk to Dr. about that, That sounds like a great procedure. Much better than waiting the 6 weeks for the hysteroscope- which is what he has me doing right now. He took the balloon out today, but I will call he and tell him about Dr Indman and what he is doing. I was so severly scarred he is not such if some of it will come back....I hate waiting. Thanks for the input.
