Guest guest
Poly, How long after your last surgery did you get your period? I visited my surgeon today, to let him know of my missing period. He said he thinks that most likely, I've had rescarring in/at my cervix. He did say that occasionally, but RARELY, women ovulate at some point during the hormone treatment and that could delay the period. (I'm not sure exactly when in the course of the hormones this would be. I was very stressed out while in his office, and probably didn't ask all the questions I could have. Anyway, he said he has seen it happen.) He ordered some blood work, including a progesterone level test, to see if this happened in my case. If the progesterone level test shows an elevated progesterone level, then that could explain the missing period. In my case, though, I think it's rescarring. Note: I did have one period after my surgery, but it was in the 2nd week after surgery ... days 6-11 after surgery. (At the time of my surgery, I'd already ovulated.) So, I must have rescarred after that. Kim
