Thanks .

I understand that there is one more meter which is supposed to be

bloodless besides the one which reads from the ear.

Re: Meters

I will see what I can find out. It's been some time since I have heard

anything, but I will check to see if I can find out anything from the

nurse educator that taught me how to use my meter. It may take a little

while, but I will do my best. If I recall, it worked by measuring the

acidity of the skin, but don't quote me on that. I'll get back to you.

Hi ,

Do you no if there's a web sight where you can find all of this

doctor's books. I just bought the one you was just talking about on

Ebay for $11 and I'm going to read it and see what this doctor knows.

Otis,

This book is on tape at the Braille Institue library in L.A. If you call

and ask for the library volunteer department, you can then ask

for the book on tape. They put it on 4 track tape for me about 1 and 1/2

years ago.

I don't know about the one that reads from the ear, could you provide more

information? Apparently, there's a lot that I don't know. Not having used

the computer for very long, I haven't done any research or seen articles.

Are there good sites to go to for information that you know about?

Otis,

Doctor B is the best source man. He walks the walk. He has been type 1 diabetic

for over 60 years and is a medical doctor. What more can we ask for?

While I do think he is a little extreme only eating 30 grams of carbs a day, I

read his book and gleaned a lot of information from him. So, as you read, take

the meat and leave the bone. No way could I survive on 30 grams of carbs a day!

I eat 30 grams a meal!

Regards,

Dear cye, The watch also causes infections, My husband checked the watches

out before. That was a few years ago now. They may have improved the thing

sense we checked in to it. The one we looked at also came with a pad you

changed under the watch. which is what caused the infections at that time.

I'll bet that you could have some real problems if you wore a watch

24/7.

The skin does need a good chance to breathe and recover.

I am sure that lots of folks would love to see a bloodless way of

testing and I do think it will come in due time.

Technology is just advancing too fast but I would also suspect that the

makers of those test strips would do anything they could to delay the

inevitable because the lose of revenue will be catastrophic, just like

cutting off beer sales or cigarette sales. (smile)
