Hey Everyone,

I just got back from the store and I bought about a 100$ worth of Atkins

groceries! :) Luckily my husband (just married on nov. 24..oh I WISH I'd

been doing the diet 4-5 months before!!) loves to grill so I'll have an

abundance of grilled meat. Anyway, I just wanted to post my fav. induction

stew recipe here for anyone that might like it. :)

1 lb ground beef

1 head cabbage

1 onion

3-4 yellow squash

2-3 zuchinni

1 bell pepper

1 can regular Rotel (1 can rotel to each lb of hamburger)

1 can stewed tomatoes

Brown hamburger. Place in bottom of stew pan, layer hand shredded cabbage

over that, onions, bell pepper, stewed tomatoes, rotel. Cook for a bit

(ok..I'm not much of a cook.... :)then add the squashes (don't want them to

be too mushy). When cabbage and veggies are soft enough to liking it's done.

This is a great Atkins meal because it's cheap, easy, and transports/reheats

at work/school well. If you're further along in the diet you can add a bit

of corn.

Hope someone can use that. Does anyone have a quick list of restuarant meals

that are pretty safe to eat? I know I can always eat wings pretty much

anywhere (helps at bars/grills). I also know I can strip down a

hamburger..but are there any other dining out tricks you can share with me?

I hate salad unfortunetly....I've tried and tried to aquire a taste for

it..no luck!

Thanks, Laurie
