Guest guest Posted March 1, 2001 Report Share Posted March 1, 2001 DEBJOJO- I HAVE HAD 2 1ST TRIMETSTER MISCARRIAGES BEFORE AS. I GOT AS AFTER HAVING 3 D & C'S AFTER MY 2ND MISCARRAIGE. THE 1ST MISCARRIAGE IN SEPT. 99 @ APPROX 6 WEEKS I THINK WAS CAUSED MY BY HERBS I WAS TAKING FOR MY MIGRAINES AND ACUPUNCTURE I WAS GETTING. SOME OF THE HERBS WERE UTERINE STIMULANTS AND SOME ACUPUNCTURE POINTS CAN CAUSE MISCARRIAGE. BY THE TIME I FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS IT WAS TOO LATE. MY HCH LEVELS WERE NOT DOUBLING AS THEY SHOULD BE AND I DID START TO BLEED VERY HEAVY ON MY OWN. DURING THE FOLLOWING PREGNANCY I WAS A NERVOUS WRECK AND MY DOCTOR TO EASE MY NERVES, WAS DOING US ABOUT EVERY 2 WEEKS. THE US DID NOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE BECAUSE I MISCARRIED ANYWAY AND I NEVER STARTED TO BLEED ON MY OWN. AFTER THE 2ND MISCARRIAGE WE HAD THE BABY TESTED AND THE 2ND MISCARRIAGE HAPPENED BECAUSE THE BABY WAS A TRIPLOID(69XXY). WHICH USUALLY OCCURS WHEN 2 SPERM GET AT ONE EGG. MY RE SAID THIS IS WHY MOST(CHROMOSOME ABNORMALITIES) MISCARRIAGES OCCUR. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY OR MY HUSBAND GENES, IT'S JUST PLAIN BAD LUCK. I WAS TOLD NOT TO BE TOO CONCERNED ABOUT MISCARRIAGE BECAUSE I MISCARRIED BOTH TIMES FOR DIFFERENT REASONS. THIS STILL DOES NOT HELP EASE MY MIND. I KNOW THAT I DIDN'T GIVE YOU A DEFINED ANSWER BUT I DID HAVE A STRONG FEELING BOTH TIMES THAT SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT. ALSO, I WAS HAVING NIGHTMARES THAT I WAS GOING TO HAVE A 2ND MISCARIAGE. I THINK THAT I ALSO HAD NIGHTMARES THAT I WAS GOING TO HAVE MISCARRIAGE THE 1ST TIME TOO. I DO HAVE A 3 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. WHEN I WAS PREGNANT WITH HER THE THOUGHT OF MISCARRIAGE NEVER ENTERED MY MIND AND I SAILED THROUGH THE PREGNANCY. I WONDER IF MY FEELINGS ARE JUST PARANOIA(SP?) OR IF THEY ARE CORRECT. YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER THAT NOW THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS " SAILING THROUGH A PREGNANCY " ANYMORE FOR US. PRESENTLY I'M TTC BUT I AM TERRIFIED THAT SOMETHING WILL GO WRONG AGAIN WHEN I GET PREGNANT BUT AM WILLING TO TAKE ANY RISK TO HAVE A BABY. In two weeks they will decide if I should go to a specialist I suppose. I don't live with the guy, by the way,. I live alone. I have a cat and I try not to change the box. I have people here and there clean it out, but.........the smell makes me sick for hours. i cant stand it. I sit the smell or touching the feces that hurts you? I dont know what to do about that. I didn't know what it was and when I saw my Dr. @13 weeks he told me that it was the baby. As time progressed those movements got stonger. As far as size... I'm 5'7 " and around 130lbs. My doctor did say that thinner people will feel the baby sooner. I am small waisted but I don't know if that makes a difference. I'm so glad to hear about the father finally coming around. Maybe he was in shock and just needed time. I hope everything works out. I hate to think of you so worked up!!!- Drop this bozo- even if you need to hire some highschool/colege kid to "babysit" you for a few hours a week- you DON'T need this- and believe me babies Don't need fathers that are idiots!!!
