Guest guest
Poly, I think there is some confusion. I had the D & C for a blighted ovum. Now my RE wants to entertain the thought of removing fibroids that I do have but that do not seem to be causing me any problems. That is why I am confused. I have consulted with 4 different doctors over the past two years none of which thought the fibroids needed to be removed including my current RE. HE wants to do a myomectomy followed by IVF and totally ignor the AS which is what is causing my infertility. Go figure!! If you had fibroids and he knew that you did, why did he perform a >D & C which is done blindly? How did he know where to scrape? Or another >question that comes to my mind is that you said " as a pathologist I have >never seen specimens resulting from myomectomys measuring that small >(1-2cm). " Does this not go to show that he may not have wanted to remove >them but that by scrapping too hard he got down too deep into the muscular >wall and got them out accidentally? I may be getting too deep into all this >and may be wrong, but just seemed a little strange to remove fibroids by >D & C. > >Poly _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
