Elly,

You said that you your doctor "thinks" that you had retained placenta 14 years ago. Can you not get this information from your medical records? Also, when I had retained placenta after giving birth, I got a terrible infection because the uterus was trying to get rid of this foreign body inside of me. Perhaps you got an infection too? If you look at the profile list, you will see that nearly all cases of retained placenta were affected with infection.

I really hope that your D & C at the hysteroscopy did not cause you any further problems with your ashermans. I look forward to hearing how you get on at your next appointment.
