Guest guest
Glad you are b ack, ! Those boys wearing you out? I am leaving for Oio this Wednesday for my high school reunion-and I'm telling how many decades it has been!. Those are great results-much better than my last one, which was 5.9. Keep up the good work! I'm back and latest lab results Hi All. My day job has slowed down ever so slightly so wanted to pop back on list and say hi! I got my latest lab results a week ago and was excited about them so figured I'd share: a1c 5.1 lowest ever been! any type 1 on list beat that one? Pat? *wink* ldl 100 hdl 64 tris 91 creatinine 1.8 so am on target pretty much in range. So how has everyone been lately? Carb counting and doing the two hour post meal test? It works folks! Looking forward to hearing from folks... Regards,
Guest guest
All of my A1C's for the past year and a half are 5.5 or lower. One was 5.5 and the others were 5.3 or lower and the lowest one was 5.1. I am due to get another blood test next month, and we will see how I am doing then. I suspect I will be higher than 5.3, since I have been pigging out on carbs and desserts for the past couple of months. I have also gottn slack on my exercise program. I had better get with this blood glucose control routine or else face the consequences, which ain't good. Guest guest
I agree. I lifted weights and did cardio for 4 years. My arms were nearly 17 inches, neck huge, chest good sized, and hated every minute of it! I'll never do it again.... just the occasional cardio! grin Regards, I'm back and latest lab results > > > > > > > > > > Hi All. > > > > > > > > My day job has slowed down ever so slightly so wanted to pop back on > > > list > > > > and say hi! Guest guest
glad to see you back Mr. . hope you can stick around a while. I sure have been missing your wisdom and good advice. I learn from each of you, but like to hear advice from every one. I am type two and have been for three years now. I am only taking one pill for my diabetes at this time. I sure don't want to start using the needle if I don't have to. my a one c hasn't got below six yet, but I am still working on it. I do count the carbs most days, but there is a day now and then that I fall off the wagon. of course I pay for falling off, because I feel like crap. Harry can scare the hell out of me most of the time with some of his post and so have you, in the past. but you guys are what I need to keep reminding me to stay on the path to eating right and hold off the bad affects from not controlling my diabetes. glad you see you back, . welcome home brother. Guest guest
Thanks Connie. The last 1.5 years or so I was pretty active on list and worked extensively with quite a few on here. Harry was my first patient. Yes, I caught hell from him at times too *laugh* but he knows how to get his a1c from 5.0 to 5.3! Guest guest
, takes all kinds...Cy, the Ancient Okie... Re: I'm back and latest lab results oh no, just a computer programmer who loves to help folks is all. I said that tongue and cheek that Harry was my first patient *grin*. Me and Harry posted all of our daily results to list showing his sugar come under control rather quickly by carb counting and getting him on humalog and lantus. Harry was our first live experiment carb counting and gained the interest of most list members since they seen the results posted here daily. It was awesome! Now Harry helps as many as he can in his own way *chuckle* Regards, I'm back and latest lab results > > > > Hi All. > > > > My day job has slowed down ever so slightly so wanted to pop back on > list > > and say hi!
