Guest guest
All of my A1C's for the past year and a half are 5.5 or lower. One was 5.5 and the others were 5.3 or lower and the lowest one was 5.1. I am due to get another blood test next month, and we will see how I am doing then. I suspect I will be higher than 5.3, since I have been pigging out on carbs and desserts for the past couple of months. I have also gottn slack on my exercise program. I had better get with this blood glucose control routine or else face the consequences, which ain't good. Guest guest
Mark: Amen! I only have a small (minow-sized) bone to pick: " the needle " ain't so bad; you'll come to see it as your friend if you can no longer control your diabetes with pills, diet and exercise. But 's right: keep working at it! Any A1C decrease makes it just that less likely that you'll have complications. Guest guest
oh no, just a computer programmer who loves to help folks is all. I said that tongue and cheek that Harry was my first patient *grin*. Me and Harry posted all of our daily results to list showing his sugar come under control rather quickly by carb counting and getting him on humalog and lantus. Harry was our first live experiment carb counting and gained the interest of most list members since they seen the results posted here daily. It was awesome! Now Harry helps as many as he can in his own way *chuckle* Regards, I'm back and latest lab results > > > > Hi All. > > > > My day job has slowed down ever so slightly so wanted to pop back on > list > > and say hi! Guest guest
Mike, I think this is a wonderful idea. We could actually market as an energy efficient thing and thereby be eligible for some Federal Grants... If we prefect it then we could possible be appointed as the computer energy czar and earn $150,000 or so per year, have a staff and an enormous office. Cy, the Ancient okie... Re: I'm back and latest lab results Perhaps we need Indepent Living Aids or like firm to market a chair with peddals linkd to a generator to power our computers so we have to peddal to stay on the Net.
