He has a huge blood clot where the small and large bowel meet. Hopefully it is outside of the bowel wall and they can just drain it. If not, it will be more complicated. This is very risky due to his overall condition, but it has to come out. The nighttime supervisor last night deemed him unqualified for a sitter after assuring my husband that she'd get one. Let's just say that he got a wild hair and tried to get out of bed, pulling out his Jpouch as he did. Feeding tube they finally got in had to come out to replace with a NG tube.
