Guest guest
This book I am reading FED UP is really good. The focus has more to do with how you feel about yourself and how you treat yourself. It is funny as I was reading this I was thinking so when is the author going to talk about the eating. LOL!! Everything that I have been reading has to do with my self esteem and how I view myself and treat myself in this body. One of the things that I decided is that I will not call myself names anymore. You know at first I just thought it was me just making light and being funny by calling myself unkind words but it has a lot to do with how I am feeling about myself and what I am thinking about myself. The book talks a lot about that. So I will not put myself down anymore--I will be kind to myself. It is amazing how often I talked badly about myself--I didn't even realize it. allie Ready for the edge of your seat? Check out tonight's top picks on Yahoo! TV. Guest guest
You are so funny! I, too, noticed the play of words and immediately made a food reference! Neat. Guess that means we are getting better! I automatically scan myself for faults every morning so I will have something to think and obsess on all day. (a goal to fix, correct, figure out) Crazy! Typing that I see how crazy it is! It is more difficult for me to set my mind on positive thoughts and goals (like finding parts of me to love, accept, appreciate, enjoy, treasure) To just do something NICE for myself which consequently is nice for everyone else because I am not a grouch all day. Otherwise I become critical and nagging. Gross. I am so embarassed! Does anyone else do that? Do you do it differently? Do you have any suggestions? Maybe start my day with a self love meditation or something? I obviously need some help! > > This book I am reading FED UP is really good.
