Guest guest
Char-just went through this with my husband last week. I didnt' think about having someone with me. I brought a good book and thought that would be good. I can't tell you how many times I read the same chapters over and over and how the time just kept draggin on and on. then an old friend I hadn't seen for two years stopped by and we talked and talked. next thing I knew my phone was ringing and the nurse said they were done. I was shocked at how the time flew by when I had a good friend to take my mind off things. I guess we all have different ways of coping with stress though. Make sure you find time to take care of yourself too throughout this. sometimes we arent' aware of how stressed out and worried we are until its all over. teri > > > Subject: Re: some sharing of experinece to date > To: ProstateCancerSupport > Date: Friday, May 23, 2008, 2:17 PM > > ..Thanks for the info..My hubby is having the same surgery as you..July > 8th..I'm scared to death. His gleason is 3+3 and 3+4...Psa is 7.19..I have no > idea what any of the numbers mean..They took 12 samples and 3 from left side > of prostate was cancer..He will be 65 July 30th..We have been married since > Sept.25,1963. . > > > > > > Love Always Char ! > > > > My " Great " Grandbaby... > > -- Re: [ProstateCancerSupp ort] some sharing of experinece to date > > > : > > Thank you. > > It's the standard open procedure surgery.
