Your thoughts, my sis seeing a rheum

My sister just called to say that after getting + ANA she has made an appt with

a rheum. She mentioned this to our parents and they were both really

unsupportive, saying it was probably nothing, and she should just stick with her

regular doc. My parents are in the medical field, so this carries some weight

with her. I argue that she has symptoms (hip pain, sores in her mouth, hair

loss, 2 episodes of psychosis) of lupus, a positive family history of autoimmune

illnesses (me RA, mom MS + MCTD, all females hypothyroid/hashis, MGM Raynauds,

PGM RA etc) and a history of funky labs (high sed rate, 35, a few years back)

that warrent her seeing a specialist and getting checked out. Do you agree?
