My kids' pediatricians have been with us from the beginning with my kids' asthma, pneumonia, and Valley Fever episodes. And, every time, the cough was eased by increasing water consumption. something about fevers, even slight ones, uses up more moisture than we realize, also the extra physical stress of coughing uses up bodily fluids as well.
