His Aunt took me to the hospital where they told me that I miscarried and that I needed to have a D & C done. I was very familiar with that procedure since this was my third pregnancy and miscarriage. The doctor performed the D & C and I went home that night. I went back for my follow up visit. Everything seemed to be fine until my bleeding was heavy every time I cycled. He told that nothing was nothing was wrong. Finally he decided to perform another D & C because it was getting to the point that I knew something was wrong. After the D & C he said that everything should be ok. I didn't like his answer. I decided to get another opinion. The doctor that I have now is the one who discovered what a mess the other doctor did. ( I tried sueing, but nobody would take my case) She performed a D & C on me and that is when I found out that part of the fetus was still in me. How could he do that. After two D & C still leave some fetus in me. After that their was so much scarring and infection that the doctor said it didn't look good for me to have children. She performed many operations trying to clear up the scar tissue. No sucess. She finally sent me to a specialist in Georgia and I went to see him. He said that he could fix eveything. I was so excited. Finally I thought the end is near. Well after the surgery the nurse( who at the time didn't know this) unflated my balloon. She thought she inflating the urine catherter. The balloo n came out a couple days later on its own. I was so upset. I was at my inlaws in another state resting when it happened so I couldn't go back to the doctor. I of course called the doctor and they said that was ok that it was in long enough. I don't feel it was. Well of course no cycle started and my regular doctor finally told me that their was nothing else I could do. So that is where I am at now. Five years later. I wish their was a way to fix things. >> Tricia, Thanks for the information you supplied me. I will add onto the profile list. It may be a good idea to send the group the part which you wrote to me at the bottom of your email, just so they too can read your story. If you have deleted it, I have cut and pasted it below for you to forward. Thanks Poly My bio: How I became having Asherman Syndrome: I was pregnant for the third time. I was so happy.
