Guest guest
I am sending an answer to several mails, please refer to your name below: Poly, yes, your ideas about setting up a group´s organization are very good, my o.k. to go ahead with your suggestions; yes, please, contact the researcher´s on ERPC, great!!! And yes, Poly, that´s my idea: surprise others with our own graphics and case studies. That´s why I am putting so much effort into it. To make all the docs realize that we are not only sufferer´s, but specialists, too! I will send you the profile list tomorrow, don´t worry, it´s on my first priority list. P.S.: I had to laugh when reading about your comment on votes from Florida! Thanks for making me laugh! Amy, I would book a flight immediately to go to an Ashermans meeting with you all! But does anyone of us have any experience on how to set up an organization? I know there are many worldwide operating groups regarding special diseases, does anyone from the medical profession know how they have been set up? , yes, I had hysteroscopic laser synechiolysis, but my scarring was obviously worse than yours since it was also a lot at the top and side of uterus. So I still don´t understand why they are so sure that they will need the laser in your case. And I agree (with the opision of Dr. Indman) from what I have read that laser should be avoided if possible. It wasn´t possible for me and luckily it all went without damage but I think this was due to Dr. Gallinats experience. ... Marta, welcome, my idea to your causing AS: I have read that ANY uterus surgery can cause AS and in very rare cases genital tuberculosis can cause it, too. Hope you will be able to find out. Cheryl, I was told that the risk of breast cancer rises - if estrogen is given - only after you have taken it for YEARS, not months, but since my grandmother died of breastcancer I am also aware of the problem that estrogen encourages tumor cells to grow. I had 7 months of 2 mg/day, and decided that´s enough. The problem is that so many factors play a vital role (and noone really knows) in causing cancer, that the percentage of estrogen as a reason is not high enough for the REs to think about it when prescribing it to us. My two cents, but I might just think that way in order to help me not getting depressed about all the estrogen I have taken ... In case I forget to do so next week: " May you all have a Christmas worth remembering among your beloved ones and may the next year bring peace and joy and lots and lots and lots of good fertility news to you!
