For Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas we either have turkey or

semi-boneless ham. for the past few years a relative has brought us a smoked

turkey. His wife's family owns a restaurant where they smoke their own

meats. My father must have eaten mutton while in the service in WWII and

didn't like it so we never eat that.

If your father was in the service anywhere near WWII I can understand

his dislike of mutton.

My father-in-law swore that they walked the sheep in from New Zealand

otherwise they could not have possible been that tough.
