When I am having a bad skin flear my face as well as other part swell, go bright red and peel. esp my hands and feet as well as my face. Three months ago my whole body was like that and I had skin falling off like in the movies. I know it can be distressing and I would lose feeling in my hands. I have come to realise with the help of this group that lupus is full of surprises. There is no such thing as normal and each of us are different. While I have you attention I would like to say that your postings always make me smile and I look forward to the pictures and the great banta you put out. If I could I would come over and give you a big hug. Hang in there, it hard work being happy and full of fun all the time.
