Guest guest
Any hints for dealing with incontinence after surgery. Don is using Depends but still has some leakage and is afraid to go back to work. Obviously, he can't afford to quit work but it is a real concern to him. He has been doing his Kegel exercises but is only three weeks out of surgery so there hasn't been any improvement yet. Going places is uncomfortable for him so he's been staying home way too much and brooding. Laurel
Guest guest
Laurel, I think the best thing he could do would be to get back to work and move forward. I really made improvement when I got back to my normal life. I had mine out 14 months ago at 52 and my incontinence improved greatly once I got back to a daily routine. I went back to work after two and a half weeks and wore one of my wife's minnie pads for about a week. Tha depends were to big and bulky and the minnie pad was more then enough. After about six weeks I stopped wearing anything at all. Now I hardly ever lose a drop. Your husband is only three weeks out, he will do fine. You'll see! Good luck, Rick incontinence Any hints for dealing with incontinence after surgery. Don is using Depends but still has some leakage and is afraid to go back to work.
