Guest guest
While I was gone this past week to Minneapolis with my son for his surgery, I did not have access to a scale. I was very nervous about this because I had been weighing myself everyday consistently. I feared when I got home on Sunday it would be a very scary number on the scale. I ate intuitively when I was gone for the most part because I was very stressed about this surgery. When I finally was able to weigh myself, I was less than when I left. It was very uplifting for me to have that happen. It gave me a little confidence that even though I don't weigh myself everyday, the weight can still change. I am going to try and listen to what the masters say about not weighing and just take it day by day. I was dragging my feet on this but I think I can give in and let the scale go. Not permanently, mind you. But not be so strict about it. :-) Michele Ahhh...imagining that irresistible "new car" smell? Check out new cars at Yahoo! Autos. Guest guest
Every other time I have tried the IE approach I continued to weigh myself and I, slowly, would turn the IE method into a diet. This time I have vowed to stay off the scale. It has been a battle at times (I was a daily weigher)but it has been very freeing for me and I am having an easier time eating intuitively as I am not being mentally affected by what the scale says. Now this is what works for me and as we all know we are all very different in our intuitive needs but for me not weighing has been extremely freeing for me and I am not making IE into a diet this time. Thank you. > > While I was gone this past week to Minneapolis with my son for his surgery, I did not have access to a scale.
