Hi Poly,

I agree with everything Gwen said. There is good news for you in that your lining has improved, but it seems that you have some scarring that has returned. I agree with Gwen that you should try to get it removed before you try much of anything else. And I agree with you that your doctor doesn't sound as if he is qualified to do the procedure...oh it must be frustrating to not have good doctors around. Poly you may have only a little bit of scarring that has returned (just as I did after my surgery). You may just need one more surgery (or office hysteroscopy) to remove it. Then you can go on high doses of estrogen. Actually Dr. Indman placed me on 2 mg estrogen twice per day even before my surgery to build up my lining.

I wish for you that you could return for office hysteroscopies every two weeks like me. It is very reassuring to know what is actually going on in your uterus every two weeks. And if any scarring returns it is taken care of. Can you possibly go to Dr. Gallinat in Germany? Would this be cheaper than the UK? I am just searching for alternatives.

It seems that if you will try to fix your uterus, you will need to do it now....before you adopt. Because after you adopt, you will not have the time (or energy) to go through this for awhile. I am sorry I am not more helpful...let us know what you decide. Good luck.
