MESSAGES ON HIV/AIDS FOR WORLD AIDS DAY 2006

The following are some key messages on HIV/AIDS that are being disseminated

during this World AIDS Day. It may appear simple. One may assume everybody knows

these. Surprisingly many do not know these. Even for those who know refreshing

with these messages will not harm. Please pass it on to as many of your networks

as possible so that many can read these. Thank you for your support and

cooperation.

1. Speed thrills but it kills-Wait for sex till marriage.

2. Mutual faithfulness within marriage can keep AIDS away.

3. Use this hardware –condom- to protect sexual software from HIV.

4. Normal social and physical contacts will not spread HIV/AIDS.

5. You can live a healthy and happy life even if HIV positive.

6. If you have had a history of risky sexual behaviour test yourself for HIV.

7. Prevent HIV to your baby by testing for HIV during pregnancy.
