I have not lived there, but as most states, it really depends on what school

system you live in.

Apparently Rutgers and Princeton have great programs, but you have to do your

research.

I just moved to Florida a year ago after living there my whole life and

teaching in NJ for nine years. I would highly recommend it! My son

was in Early Intervention when we moved here, so we didn't get our

services through the school board. The Early Intervention services in

terms of what you are given are amazing. I was very happy.

Pretty much every town has their own school district (not counties like

here in FL) so it really depends on what town you move to that

determines how good the schools are. Also, North Jersey is like a

different state than South Jersey. Feel free to email me if you have

any specific questions.

Thank you, Garrett. I do not have money to pay for a private school, so I have to rely on the Public Scchool System.

Thanks again,

I moved from NJ 4 years ago. I lived in an area called Scoth Plains in Union County. The school my son attended was Brunner Elementary school. It was so fantastic. They have a great program for our kids. I had to move to florida for job reasons and I so wish the were something we could have done to stay, but there was just no choice for us. They have COSAC (which is like a CARD center), they also have the medwaiver waiting list but the waiting time is just like here, 4 to 5 years. Houses are old and very expensive, but who knows if that has changed, due to the economy. Living there is not cheap, but the schools are worth it. Good luck to you Fabricia.
