Exciting New about Dr Valle!!!

Hello everyone,

As you know I had my appointment with Dr. Valle. I forgot to ask him if we could have a copy of his latest ashermans medical paper that is being published in France. Well I am so excited to tell you what happened you will understand why I forgot!!!!! As he was getting ready to do the HSG in the radiology room, he was already talking about the ashermans group and that he thought it was great and the profile list(without our names, cities, or states info) was great....etc.. He wants FOR SURE to do a medical paper with our help!!!! He has the idea of writing the paper from the experience of the Ashermans patient's perspective. Isn't that too EXCITING???? ) He says that he has all the ideas of the direction he wants to take in his head mauling it over. He said that he will be in contact with me soon. Then we can go from there.... ) He said that he wants the ashermans group to feel like it will make a difference!!!! He will put Poly's name in the acknowledgements of the paper!!! Thanks for starting this group Poly!!!! "Way to go Poly" Isn't that exciting!!!!!

He said that he has worked his whole life in doing uterine surgeries trying to make a difference. He is very excited about how we as an ashermans support group can make a big difference in getting the info out to the general public.

He is concerned about patients who are being miss diagnosed with ashermans for years by OB/GYNs, patients who are being told by their doctors that their ashermans can't be fixed by, and about patients who are having surgeries with regular OB/GYNs not by a uterine surgery specialist. Things we all have been concerned with also. This just confirms what we what have been thinking.

He also had some suggestions about helping the group. He thought that we should set up a board, such as a president, vice-president, ETC..... from among our group. Then also have a group of Ashermans Specialist Surgeons set up as a separate board so that we could have chats and advice about ashermans in a supportive role. Sounds like he would help in that area of suggesting Specialists for a board. That would mean that we would also need to have a web site up that could handle the chats I think!! Some of you have any ideas about how to go about setting up a board?

I asked him about other Doctors. He knows all the doctors that we have mentioned..on the A list.. and some of the others but he was a bit reluctant to talk about any details of any one doctor. He did say that they all know each other from around the world and that they know who are the good Doctors and which ones aren't necessarily good. He said this info might be more forthcoming with a board of Ashermans Specialist Doctors.

This is a lot of info to take in!!! I was so excited I could hardly sleep last night thinking about all of this. Write back with your thoughts...
