Guest guest
The gynocologist told me that I still have fibroids --- post-myomectomy --- That he hadn't been able to get them all! But, no...I have no info on fibroids after a hysterectomy.
Guest guest
Giselle, What were the fibroids attached to????? B. Fibroids after hysterectomy Hi all! Quick update... I had my myomectomy two and a half weeks ago now and am doing great! I am working at my desk again and feel really strong. My stamina isn't up to par yet, but I'm hanging in there. Thank you for your messages, thoughts and prayers during my recovery. I had a conversation with my mother this weekend regarding and MRI she had to diagnose a back problem she is having. What they found were two large fibroid tumors. The oddest part is that she had a total hysterectomy (ovaries, cervix, all of it) ten years ago. Anyone heard of this before? I've been trying to find info and coming up short. I know someone mentioned this on the list a while ago but I couldn't find it in the archives. I guess I have quite a future with fibroids ahead of me... Thanks for listening, Giselle

Guest guest
> Giselle, > > What were the fibroids attached to????? > > B , What a great question that is. Unfortunately, I didn't go with my mother for the results of her MRI, and she didn't ask the question, so I don't know. She is one of those that has the opinion that " the doctor knows best, so what he/she says goes " . So she didn't even think to question. I believe that I'm going to become much more involved with her health care in the coming months. Quick story... When she found out that I was dealing with fibroids she begged me to see the very doctor that removed everything from her. She thought he was fabulous! I smiled an promised her I would, but of course, never did. Giselle
