I added " Hip and Sciatic Nerves " and " Knee Ligaments - front view " to the

anatomy diagrams in the Shared Files section. If you haven't had the time to

take a peek, you should, as these are some very well done diagrams. (wish I

could draw like that!)

Hi Mark - I guess I must have missed the intro to this post. Could you

please repeat, along with website? (Where is the Shared Files section?)

,

you just need to go to www.onelist.com and put in your email address,

password and click on Log-In. That will take you to a the page that shows which

lists you belong to - click on " rheumatic " and it will take you to a page with a

bunch of links -one of which is the link for Shared Files.

Hey Mark--Got any shoulders or elbows? the shoulder is incredibly complex in

structure and function. I think most people don't have any idea how it

works. I got to watch mine live on sonogram a couple of years ago.

Fascinating.

Re: rheumatic Added picsProbably not what you're looking for, although I did

add 2 additional pics today - one of the deep muscles of that area which is of

interest in itself and one posterior view of the entire skeletal system. I will

see what I can find re: elbow.

Hi everyone,

I finally added some pics of my baby, Dink (my dog) and me. They are

in the album " Dink and me. " He's my mostly blind double merle

Australian Shepherd, although you'd never know he can't see. So check

them out if you'd like :)

Dink is an Australian Shepherd. He's a double merle, which merle is a

color in many breeds (harlequins and dapples are merles, it's the same

genes). You get a double merle when you breed to merles together which

results in about 25% of the puppies being born blind, deaf, or both.

Another name for them are " lethal whites " because the dogs are mostly

white and are many time euthanized at birth or just tossed out onto the

streets which is what happened to Dink and his sister Tinksi. Tinksi

was euthanized because she was blind and deaf, and she was dog

aggressive so no one wanted to foster her, I would have, but I have 4

dogs at home and was afraid of a conflict between her and one of my

established dogs. Dink is mostly blind, and can hear. He was found

running the streets and was up for euthanasia the weekend that I

adopted him. He was rescued by a loving shelter worker who placed him

in a foster home, so if you ever hear of a double merle needing a

foster home or adoptive home, they make great dogs, and since they are

born this way, they don't know any difference so there is practically

no adjustment time when they come into a new home.
