Guest guest
Carlasue, and all, I get those " charges " in my feet, legs, head, and arms. Not all the time, but always unexpectedly, and always making me jump. It is nerve related in me, and was made much worse when I was sent to nerve conduction studies twice. The technicians were from the Marquis DeSade school of medicine, I swear. It sometimes goes with Lupus, Diabetes, Fibromyalgia, and Rheumatoid Diseases. There are meds like Neurontin which can help with it. I did not tolerate that one very well, and referred to it as Neurotten, but meds are different for different people. It might work for you. Good luck and keep us updated. Love, MM

Guest guest
Hi Carlasue. LOL..... ok! the new schizo you? :-) Well then, glad to meet the other you....? :-D SOme of the sensations, sound like some that i have . But not the falling or startling part of it, but the zapping, the water droplet feeling, and I have a feeling that the string thing you are talking about , may be what I refer to, as my insides sometimes feel like tight guitar strings being pulled on. Take care, Normi Re: Weird symptomsHi Normi, I get the sensations and also jerking jumping muscles, like I am a string puppet and someone just keeps jerking my strings at will, it is so bad it will wake and startle me in a sound sleep, I will actually feel like I am falling or startle so bad from it I am not sure what happend for a sec. then I will realize it , you know how you are half awake and half asleep. Guest guest
Normi, I am beginning to wonder, too. I still have this twitch in my eye (my right eye also), and I used to get one in my knee but I haven't noticed it lately. I have been keeping a low grade fever, but I mean I've had it since October. I wonder how many other Lupies out there have twitching eyes (and do they have red hair LOL)? I know what you mean, too, about not mentioning to your doctor every little thing. Either I forget because there is something worse that I want looked at, or I purposely say nothing cause I don't want them to put me through any diagnostic testing LOL. I swear, the tests are worse than the actual illness. Take care! Maggie
