Guest guest
Carla, Will you please explain why you decided to have an abdominal myomectomy instead of a laparoscopic myomectomy? Thanks, - Debbie

Guest guest
#1 reason: uterine prolapse. Completely anteverted uterus with fibroid pushing into the vagina. I needed more than myomectomy to fix that mess. Carla Dionne Will you please explain why you decided to have an abdominal myomectomy instead of a laparoscopic myomectomy? Guest guest
Carla, Which tests were used to diagnose your uterus was anteverted w/ fibroid pushing into vagina, e.g. ultrasound, MRI, etc. What kind of fibroid did you have? I ask because I better find these things out before I go for the laparoscopic myo. Thanks, - Debbie Re: Carla - ab myo vs. lap myo > #1 reason: uterine prolapse. Guest guest
Tests? When your uterus is anteverted and a fibroid is pushing down into the vagina you don't need a single test to diagnose this! Believe me, you just flat out know it. The physical location of the cervix and a fundal fibroid that can manually be felt in the vagina is not something you need a " test " to determine.
