Guest guest
Hi, , I, for one, will head up a protest march in front of the FDA that will make any previous protest seem like nothing happened. Sheeeesh! I can understand the need for safety in the production of medications, food, and the things that they are made from, but banning a medication solely on the basis of the BS that the competing medication producers are putting out? Darn it! At the very least, I deserve to be heard. The government has not had a terrific track record where it comes to medications -- look at the history of drug withdrawals from the market. Some years back there was a medication used as an NSAID that my doctor prescribed for post-operative pain in my knees while I was healing from surgery. That stuff worked! I had no side affects, not stomach upset, or anything else. Just two months later, some man had died from taking it, but his doctor and he both knew that he had a long history of stomach problems, including bleeding ulcers! Why did the doctor prescribe it to him? Why didn't the patient read the " cautions " on the insert from his pharmacy? Irresponsible doctoring and irresponsible taking of medication are the problems, not the cause of such withdrawals. Certainly there are medications that should not be prescribed except as " last resort " attempts to help, but the cases used to force the withdrawals are extraordinary -- not the kind of thing that should be allowed for force a ruling. Armour is tested in-house on a consistent basis, just like any other medication is to be tested, yet the only reports regarding some kind of " variances of strength " are reported by the competing companies. What kind of idiot cannot see through that kind of balderdash? Armour works! It may not be the perfect answer for everyone, but for those who can take it, the results are marvelous! Synthetics should be available as an alternative to Armour, not the other way around. Darned soapbox! Stepping down now....
