You know, even though I got a lecture that made me feel like a dummy

(but I knew that I would, I'm surprised actually that I only got one

lecture and it was a kind one and not a mean one) I'm still glad that

I posted because now some ladies are reexamining their old labs and

finding that they are indicating they really are hypothyroid, and

ladies are thinking of questioning their doctors further now. I am

so glad of that, because if even one lady can be spared the misery of

a life of being hypothyroid, and an early death from it, then it

would be worth it for me to be given a million lectures about what a

dumb thing I am doing!

I want to order the super pig t-shirt and wear it. I want to talk

about this at cocktail parties, etc.! I have already written my

sister and niece about it. They both have talked about symptoms that

indicate to me it is possible they might be hypothyroid.

I want to start a revolution! The super pig revolution!

Ladies inviting one another to parties to sample " thyroid soup " if

the FDA takes thyroid medicine away from us...ladies taking control

of their own health and refusing to believe doctors who tell

them " it's all in your head, you are whiny and lazy and fat. "

I picture all of us together confronting doctors, like a scene from

that Pat Benetar video, " Love is a Battlefield " anyone remember

that?

And men, too, men are invited. Sometimes I forget men can be

hypothyroid too. It's just that we see it so much more in women and

it seems like men don't get told as often they are crazy, it seems

like men get believed more by doctors.
