Guest guest
oh that is a given, we know that here, but, some type twos on list here don't use insulin is why that was mentioned. you must have not been around when harry on list here, a type two, went on humalog and lantus and I worked with him for several months to get him off oral meds and on insulin. It's in the archives for anyone interested in reading up on it. Was awesome! Regards, type 2's This thinking is a little old, lots of type 2's are on insulin now, either the pills didn't work or they have had it more than 10 years and the pills no longer work. Someone recently told me they went to a web site that explained type 1's as juvenile diabetes, and type 2's as non-insulin users. Times have changed. Type twos don't even think of it or you'll be running your rear off for 1 hour or more to burn off just 60 grams and still be high and feel like crap. I hope everyone realizes that is only you and everyone is different I.E total carbs, divided by 15, times 2 units of H per 15 grams.
Guest guest
You also have to realize that if your BG goes over 250 and you exercise, it can often make your BG go up even higher. So, if you are going to over eat, you need to exercise before eating so you start out with a low BG! (P.S. I don't even know if this will work!) type 2's This thinking is a little old, lots of type 2's are on insulin now, either the pills didn't work or they have had it more than 10 years and the pills no longer work. Guest guest
very true. when you exercise when you are high sugared, your body breaks down more sugar from your liver to give you energy and it raises your sugar even more. heck, pat, explain this will ya? please?
