[**Response: You're spending time trying to figure out what to take and worrying

about it when all you need to do is increase your Zoloft dose to the last dose

at which you felt well.

The stomach " muscles " pain is from dropping too much Zoloft at one time or

dropping too closely together. The majority of serotonin receptors people have

are in their guts. That's why the pain and ache.

It looks like you're ignoring the rule of thumb I constantly say. It is -- do

a 3-5% decrease. Ask yourself after a week if you feel as well or better than

you felt prior to the last decrease. If you can say YES with certainty it is

time for the next decrease. If you can't say yes with not doubt, you cannot do

your next decrease yet. It doesn't matter whether it's been 4 weeks. If you

don't get a " yes " to the question, you can't do another decrease. But you can't

do this now until you get yourself out of withdrawal.

Go back to the dose you last felt well. Wait until you feel okay again. Then

do a 3-5% decrease and follow the instructions I just gave.

Btw,any homeopathic that worked was merely a partial palliative. These give

short term partial relief. It's not a good idea just to take homeopathic

remedies because you have them. There was no indication for Rhus Tox 30X in the

symptoms you cited. You could end up taking a remedy that is not compatible with

an appropriate remedy someone may want to suggest a few days later. This could

interfere in how the remedy plays out in your system.-- ]

Hi & group members,

I've been completely off of valium since 3/19/11 and currently tapering

off of zoloft. Lately, I've been experiencing more pain than I can

handle. I suspect it has a lot to do with very tight muscles. I've had

chronic pain for many years but it's worse now.

Shoulder pain has spread across my upper back, chest and down into my

stomach. It's increasing my anxiety, probably tightening my muscles

even more, causing some queasiness and keeping me awake. I used to take

meloxicam or ibuprofen for lower back, hip and/or shoulder pain but I

can no longer tolerate it. It now causes horrible anxiety/fear/panic.

Last night I had this reaction for the 3rd time and the worst reaction

yet. I had a panic attack worse than I've had in over a year and the

pain got worse instead of better.

A couple weeks ago, I tried 1000mg coated aspirin, had less pain and

slept better than usual with no other noticeable side effects. I took

aspirin for the next few days/nights hoping to decrease inflammation.

That's when the pain spread into my stomach.

I assumed the stomach pain was being caused by the aspirin and stopped

taking it. Now I'm not so sure. The stomach pain got better, then

worse, then better again, and then worse again without me taking

anything for pain.

Oh, I did try some Rhus Tox 30X with no improvement, Also, I took Mag

Phos 30C for 3 days with significant improvement in the overall pain.

But since I'm not a homeopath I didn't want to continue taking it for

longer than that on my own.

I really don't know what to do next. I'm on SSDI and don't have money

to try a lot of different things. I've had to cut down my supplements

in order to buy food. It seems I can't get healthy unless I have enough

money to buy it. I considered going to see my orthopedist, but he's

going to want to prescribe either the kind of drugs I'm trying to avoid

or the ones I can't tolerate. Or, he'll suggest PT which I can't pay for.

I also considered a chiropractor. Not only is it expensive, but I've

had mixed results in the past, helped my neck, but made lower back

worse. I tried acupuncture in the past but it caused pain, anxiety,

muscle tightening. I've been doing stretches but have to be very

careful because one morning last week I must have stretched a little too

much because it made the upper back worse and I couldn't turn my head

without severe pain. Luckily that gradually improved over a few days.

Do you have any suggestions? Maybe I should schedule a consultation

with you since I have many " issues " . Whether or not it will benefit me

will depend on whether or not I can afford to buy whatever you think I

should be using.

I'm feeling really depressed, anxious and hopeless now. I'm so afraid

I'm going to have to increase the psych meds because it's all I can afford.
