I use to think about design cards (I rubber stamp cards) to try to put me to

sleep. What I eventually realized was (for me at least) giving my brain

something interesting to think about, was really keeping my mind active and

awake. The more boring stuff I give it (hence the random counting or

focusing on my breathing), the quicker it relaxes and eventually goes to

sleep. I'm not perfect at this, and sometimes, it takes a long time to get

the hamster wheel to calm down, but I'm working on it.

I love rubber stamping cards. Used to go to workshops a lot but then found it

was

hard to sit that long and stopped going.

I read and then eventually my eyes start shutting. That is my normal bed time

routine.

Also if I wake up I will get some milk, it doesn't even have to be warm to

drink and then

try to go back to sleep.

I love it too. I use to belong to a local stamp club, but had to drop out

because going out in the evenings was just too much, and I didn't feel good

enough to go that much either. Haven't been to a convention in several

years, so I just buy off the net. I'm too tired in the evening to do

anything besides watching tv. I never knew how much energy book reading

could take until I got this sick. Oh, well, at least I can still stamp!
